The Northern Michigan University Students’ Art Gallery (SAG) opened for the first time this school year today, September 2, and is accepting work for their upcoming Sketchbook Show.

“SAG is looking for sketches, drawings, doodles, scribblings, sketchbooks and journals — basically any surface you draw on,” said SAG Director Breanne Kanak.

The show has no submission fee but is only available to NMU students. Submissions will be accepted until this Friday, September 6. The Sketchbook Show will run from September 8 – October 4.

SAG is located on the first floor of the University Center and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
