Another vehicle-building collision has occurred in downtown Marquette.
At approximately 7:50 p.m., a white GMC 2500 pickup truck collided head first with the old Savings Bank building on the southeastern corner of Front and Washington Streets. No reports of injuries have been made so far and damage to the building appears to be minimal.
According to accounts given to Marquette Social Scene, the truck is reported to have Alaska or New York license plates and was not a hit-and-run situation. Marquette Police Department is still investigating the accident and have no further information at this time.

This is the second vehicle-building collision this holiday weekend. A black SUV damaged the former Second Skin Shop storefront on Third Street early Saturday morning before fleeing the scene. The driver and vehicle were located later in the day after a tip from a citizen.
